The Funk 4 are a group of crime-fighting superheroes living in Big Town, Montana. They are best friends and roommates. In 1996, after they had been living together for a year, Lauren, a chemical engineer, was involved in an accident at chemicals, inc. she was unknowingly exposed to a chemical by her employers. within hours, she became invisible. her three friends (jenny, katy, and carrie) decided to help lauren fight back. the four destroyed the chemical concoction that had made lauren invisible and were able to obtain those responsible for exposing lauren to the chemical. although the four could not prove the culprits did anything to lauren, they were arrested and jailed for tax fraud. while fighting these evil-doers, the four realized they each had special powers. to learn more about these powers and other characteristics of the members of the Funk 4, visit each of their subpages.
